Guest Designer!!!

Hello everyone!  Can you believe we're half-way through the week already?!  That means only a few more days in my twenties...yikes!  I've asked a few of my most inspirational crafters to help me celebrate this week as guest designers.  I cannot tell you enough how much I admire {not in a creepy way, LOL} these two women.  I am in awe of their talent and every single project they post makes me want to run to my craft space to start creating.  They are A.MAZING.

My first guest designer is actually the person that introduced me to the world of craft-blogging {I'm not sure she even knows that!}.  I found her blog over Christmas, right after I received my Cricut Expression.  I was absolutely hooked!  I love her style and her attention to detail.  Check it out for yourself....

Happy Wednesday - it's Lauren from Lauren's Creative!  I am so happy that Jenny invited me to help her celebrate her birthday!  I have been scrapbooking for a little over a year now and it is one of my favorite ways to spend an afternoon or evening in my craft room!  I only wish that I would have started sooner, so I was closer to being caught up!

We visited Disney World in February, so I have been trying to finish scrapbooking all of our pictures as quickly as possible.  Since summer is just around the corner, I figured that some of you may be looking for some inspiration for your upcoming trip!  You may also have a stack of pictures that need to be scrapbooked like me and need a little push in the right direction to get everything finished!

I'm not sure that stitching around ALL of the tree was the best idea as far as time management, but I love the overall effect.  In case you hadn't notice, I am a bit addicted to my gel pen.

I added a little dimension to the page by "popping" up all of the die-cuts.  It's definitely an easy way to add a little more interest to your pages.  I store all of my layouts in the WR Memory Keeper 3-ring scrapbooks.  They are a little larger than the regular post albums and since most of my pages have something "popped-up" I need a lot of room in my books...otherwise my daughter will end up with 100 scrapbooks by the time she is 18.

Happy birthday Jenny!
Lauren, that layout is gorgeous. I agree that the stitching makes it. So time consuming, but so beautiful. Thanks for sharing. http://deegeescraps.blogspot.com/
